Hey Ministry Bible Studies are created for women—women in different seasons of life, with different questions, different experiences, and the same desire to grow closer to God through His Word.
I have always loved studying the people of the Bible, especially the women. When I was younger, many of their stories were lessons to learn from. But as I grew older, I began to see them differently. They became more personal to me.
Sometimes I can look at one of their lives and almost see my own reflection there.
Their world was very different from ours, but their emotions, struggles, hopes, fears, families, faith, disappointments, and victories can feel very familiar. Sometimes their stories remind us of ourselves. Other times, they remind us of women we know and love.
That is one of the things I want these Bible studies to do—to help us study Scripture deeply, but in a way that feels personal, understandable, and connected to real life.
Some studies will focus directly on the specific lives of women and the impact they left in the Bible, and others can be involved in someone else’s story, and how God used them to bless others. Others can even be a worship song study that points us back to God’s truth.
Even if the stories change in situation, time, and people, the purpose will always be the same: to open the Bible together, understand what God is teaching us, and see how His Word speaks into our lives today.
We know the women and men of Scripture lived in different cultures and different times, but the God who was with them is still the same God who is with us today.
And this is something I never want us to forget:
Whether we are facing something spiritual, emotional, physical, family-related, or simply trying to understand the next step in our lives, His Word continues to give the direction, hope, healing, wisdom, and truth we desperately need.
These studies are meant to help us grow stronger in God’s Word, make room for reflection and spiritual growth, and always point us back to God, Yeshua, His Word, and the Holy Spirit.
Some studies may be used personally, with a friend, or with a group of women. Some may be short. Others may become a series. Some may include PowerPoint presentations, reflection questions, teaching videos, or other resources as Hey Ministry continues to grow.
But no matter the format we use, the heart will remain the same:
We will open God’s Word together, learn from it, grow through it, and become closer to Him.
“Come… let’s walk together toward Him.”
