Hey Ministry Bible Studies are for women in different seasons of life, but with the same desire to grow closer to God through His Word.
When I was younger, many of the stories of different women in the Bible were simply interesting and nice to read, but as I grew older, I began to see them differently. They became more personal to me, as if their situations and experiences were reflections of my own life.
Yes, their world was very different from ours, but their emotions, struggles, hopes, fears, families, faith, disappointments, and victories can feel very similar to what we have all gone through.
Connecting our hearts with the lives of the women in Scripture can also help us better understand the women we know and love, especially when we know they are going through difficult situations.
Even if the stories change in situation, time, and people, the purpose will always be the same: to open the Bible together, understand what God is teaching us, see how His Word speaks into our lives today, and allow Him to lead us toward the destiny He has for us.
We know the women and men of Scripture lived in different cultures and different times, but the God who was with them is still the same God who is with us today.
Whether we are facing something spiritual, emotional, physical, family-related, or simply trying to take the next step in our life journey, His Word continues to give us the direction, hope, healing, wisdom, and truth we desperately need.
Bible studies for the female heart are meant to help women grow stronger in God’s Word, not only by learning about human lives much like our own, but also by making room for reflection and spiritual growth. These studies always underline how important and special women have always been to God, to Yeshua, and, of course, to the Holy Spirit throughout His Word.
The women in the Bible are presented in ways that can help us identify with them, whether in a personal one-on-one way, with a friend, with family, or in a group of women who may be walking through a similar story.
Some studies may be a single lesson, while others may become a series of seven, twelve, twenty, or more studies, depending on the length of the story or the Bible book, if that is the case.
Normally, the studies are taught through the reading of the Word, PowerPoint presentations, reflection, questions and participation, teaching videos, or other resources as Hey Ministry continues to grow. But no matter what format we use, the heart will remain the same.
In His Ministry, women come together, in person or online, to open God’s Word, enjoy it, learn from it, grow through it, and become closer to Him.
That is why our motto is: “Come… let’s walk together toward Him.”
